“A lonely space probe travels through the solar system and encounters strange objects from the past. All of these objects are connected to humanity’s investigation and worship of the night sky. They represent an ancient human feeling: The feeling of awe one experiences when gazing at the heavens. With this film, I try to argue that this feeling of awe is a deeply human experience, innate to all cultures and historical periods.”
